When Should You Refer a Patient to Hospice Care?

Referring patients to hospice care should be seen as a shift in the approach to managing a terminal illness, not as giving up. Early referrals allow us to focus on creating a detailed care plan that covers all aspects of the patient’s well-being, from managing pain to providing emotional support for their family. Our team works closely with physicians to ensure that patients benefit from hospice care as soon as possible, improving their quality of life during their final stages.
