Hospice of South Texas is committed to offering a variety of bereavement services to individuals, with special emphasis on providing family bereavement support. The goal is to help the patient’s family and other loved ones cope with grief and loss issues.
Bereavement services begin with the initial assessment and an individualized care plan and continue 13 months following the death of the patient. The care plan may include grief educational group meetings, informational literature, correspondence, phone calls and our Service of Remembrance.
We develop individualized care plans that offer the specific support your family needs, including education and counseling.
Our services continue for 13 months after the loss of a loved one, providing long-term support through your grieving process.
We offer both group meetings and one-on-one counseling to provide comfort in the setting that best meets your emotional needs.
